ABS Stores Limiting Hours Due To Staffing Shortage In MOCO
After two stores had to temporarily close due to a staffing shortage, Montgomery County announced all ABS stores would reduce their hours.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — After staffing shortages temporarily closed the King Farm and the Poolesville Alcohol and Beverage Services stores for two days, the county announced that all locations would have shortened hours beginning Wednesday.
All stores will be open noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, a departure from the schedule of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday that returned in June. Sunday hours will remain at noon to 5 p.m. The hours were initially shortened at the beginning of the pandemic due to staffing shortages.
“Montgomery County appreciates its outstanding workforce more than ever,” said ABS Director Kathie Durbin in a news release. “ABS remains committed to excellent customer service, and we look forward to returning to regular hours once this current wave has passed.”
