DERWOOD, MD — A car crashed into a 7-Eleven store in Derwood Monday morning and by 3 p.m. it had reopened, an employee working there told Patch.

A man in his car in the parking lot accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, causing his car to lurch through the front window panel, Shahana Dereen said. No one was injured in the accident, said Dereen.

"Everyone is OK," Dereen told Patch. "The employees are OK. The customers are OK."
