Chesterbrook Academy Students Donate Toys to Local Children in Need
Students held a toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Gaithersburg recently held a toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots. Students and their families donated new and gently used toys, including board games, dolls, art supplies and more. Following the donation, students organized the toys for delivery to the organization, which distributed them to children of all ages during the holiday season. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to their community.
Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
