MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Montgomery County authorities are investigating after a 20-year-old man was found fatally shot inside a car last weekend. Shortly after 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, county police officers responded to the 9800 block of Brookridge Court in Montgomery Village for the report of a car that had crashed into a townhouse. When police arrived, they found Henry Krishawn Gilbert of Clarksburg in the driver's seat suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save his life, police said Gilbert was pronounced dead at the scene.The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore conducted an autopsy and later ruled the death a homicide. No suspect is in custody at this time, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
