GAITHERSBURG, MD — One person was transported to the hospital after they were trapped in their car in a collision in Gaithersburg Wednesday, officials said. The crash occurred at about 4 p.m. at the intersection of North Frederick Ave and Spectrum Ave, near the Floor &amp; Decor shop. The person was stuck in their car and then transported by EMS crews, Montgomery County Fire &amp; Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer said.
