Frederick Avenue Homicide Victim Identified: Montgomery County Police

Police have identified the victim of a weekend shooting in Gaithersburg; the incident has been ruled a homicide.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police identified the victim of a weekend shooting as 30-year-old Ange Gadji. The death has been ruled a homicide.

About 5:11 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, Gaithersburg Police and Montgomery County Police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 19700 block of North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg.

Gadji was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore conducted an autopsy and determined the cause and manner of death to be a homicide.
