Gaithersburg Chorus Celebrates 30 Years On Stage
The Gaithersburg Chorus will mark the occasion with a free holiday concert and sing-along on Dec. 5.

GAITHERSBURG, MD – Join the Gaithersburg Chorus in celebrating its 30th anniversary with a free holiday concert on Tuesday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Rosborough Theatre at Asbury Methodist Village. The concert will close with a sing-along with the audience and a reception will follow. Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted. All ages are welcome.
The celebratory concert will feature selections by well-known composers including Norman Dello Joio, Randall Thompson, and Ola Gjeilo.
The Gaithersburg Chorus is directed by Daniel Hopkins. Accompaniment is provided by Teresa McCoy.

The Gaithersburg Chorus requires no audition to join and is open to anyone high school aged or older. The next session begins on January 2, 2018. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Two annual concerts are presented, with the Chorus performing at various special events throughout the year. There is a registration fee to join; financial aid is available. Register for the chorus online here.
