Gaithersburg Crime: 7 Residential Burglaries, Incidents At Local Beauty Salon and Barber Shop and More

The following information was provided by the Montgomery County Police Department. Arrests or charges do not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County police released a crime summary for April 29 through May 7. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg:

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 10800 block of Game Preserve Road on Tuesday, April 30, between 1:30 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. Entry to the home was not forced and property was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 13600 block of Straw Bale Lane between Wednesday, May 1, and Thursday, May 2. Entry to the home was forced and nothing was taken.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 19600 block of Club Lake Road in Montgomery Village on Wednesday, May 1, just before 9 a.m.
  • A strong-arm robbery occurred near the intersection of Walkers Choice Road and Walker House Road in Montgomery Village on Wednesday, May 1, just before 10 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.
  • An aggravated assault occurred at Primo's Barber Shop, located at 4 North Summit Avenue, on Friday, May 3. The suspect is known to the victim.
  • Three residential burglaries were reported between Thursday, May 2, at 8 p.m. and Friday, May 3, at 6 a.m.
    • Unit block of Stedmall Court—forced entry, property taken
    • Unit block of Stedmall Court—unknown entry, nothing taken
    • 8300 block of Stedmall Terrace—attempted forced entry, nothing taken
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 9200 block of Bluebird Terrace on Tuesday, May 7, around 9:30 a.m. The suspects are known to the victim.
  • A commercial burglary occurred at On The Edge Hair Salon, located at 16531 South Frederick Avenue on Tuesday, May 7, just after 11 p.m.
  • An aggravated assault occurred in the 400 block of Girard Street in Gaithersburg. The suspect is known to the victim.
