Gaithersburg Crime: Homicide, 2 Sexual Assaults and More

Montgomery County police released a crime summary for May 20-28. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg:

• An indecent exposure occurred in the 9900 block of Killarney Way on Monday, May 20, between 7:45 p.m. and 8:50 p.m.
• A sexual assault occurred in the 400 block of Muddy Branch Road on Tuesday, May 21, around 3:30 a.m.
• A sexual assault assault occurred on Wednesday, May 22, in the unit block of South Frederick Avenue around 9:15 p.m.
• Six homes in the same block of Game Preserve Road were the targets of burglars on May 22. Click here for more information.
• An aggravated assault occurred on Thursday, May 23, around 1:20 a.m. in front of the CVS at 546 North Frederick Avenue. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and was arrested.
• An aggravated assault occurred on Thursday, May 23, in the 19400 block of Brassie Place in Montgomery Village at around 3:40 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
• A homicide occurred on Friday, May 24, around midnight in the 7200 block of Cliff Pine Place in Gaithersburg. Click here for more information.
• A strong-arm robbery occurred on Saturday, May 25, at 12:40 p.m. near the intersection of Russell Avenue and Odend Hall Avenue. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 7900 block of Coriander Drive between 9 p.m. and 12:47 a.m. on May 26. Entry to the home was forced and property was taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 20600 block of Highland Hall Drive between 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, and 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28. Entry to the home was not forced and property was taken.
• A strong-arm robbery occurred at the park located at West Deer Park Road and Cedar Avenue on Monday, May 27, around 6:20 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.
