Gaithersburg Crime: Sex Assaults, Burglaries at Local Businesses and More
The following information was provided by the Montgomery County Police Department. Arrests or charges do not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County police released a crime summary for June 24-July 2. The following incidents were reported in Gaithersburg.
- A vehicle theft occurred in the unit block of Hidden Field Drive in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, June 26, between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m.
- A sex assault occurred in the unit block of Cottonwood Court in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, June 26, at around 8:30 a.m. The suspect exposed himself to the victim.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 300 block of Grove Avenue in Washington Grove between Wednesday, June 26, at 11 p.m., and Thursday, 6/27 at 6 a.m. No forced entry; property taken.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 17000 block of King James Way in Gaithersburg between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 27. Entry to the home was forced entry and property was taken.
- Three thefts from vehicles occurred in the 500 block of Coral Reef Drive in Gaithersburg between Thursday, June 27, at 9:30 p.m. and Friday, June 28, at 4:30 a.m. No forced entry. Items taken included a charger, iPhone case, sunglass case, and work gloves.
- A peeping tom incident occurred in the 800 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard in Gaithersburg on Thursday, June 27, around midnight.
- A strong-arm robbery occurred at the intersection of Woodfield Road and Emory Grove Road in Gaithersburg on Friday, June 28, at 1:14 a.m. The suspects obtained property from the victim.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 14400 block of Falling Leaf Drive between Friday, June 28, and Tuesday, July 2. Entry to the home was forced and property was taken.
- A commercial burglary occurred at Enviro-Aire, 19550 Clubhouse Road in Montgomery Village, between Friday, June 28, at 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 30, at 11:30 a.m. Entry to the business was forced and property was taken.
- A sex offense occurred in the 9000 block of Roundleaf Way in Gaithersburg on Saturday, June 29, at around 7:30 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
- An aggravated assault occurred in the unit block of East Deer Park Road in Gaithersburg on Saturday, June 29, at around midnight. The suspect is known to the victim.
- A robbery occurred in the 18400 block of Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village on Sunday, June 30, at around 9 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
- An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 18900 block of Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village between Saturday, June 29, at 11 p.m. and Sunday, June 30, at 7 a.m. Entry to the home was forced entry and nothing was taken.
- An armed robbery occurred in the 300 block of Game Preserve Road in Gaithersburg on Sunday, June 30, around 11:50 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
- A commercial burglary occurred at the Dollar Tree, 19214 Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village, between Sunday, June 30, at 11 p.m. and Monday, July 1, at 7:15 a.m. Entry to the business was forced and property was taken.
- A sex assault occurred in the 900 block of Clopper Road in Gaithersburg on Monday, July 1, between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim, then fled.
- An armed robbery occurred in the 19400 block of Brassie Place in Montgomery Village on Monday, July 1, at around 7 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
- An armed robbery occurred in the 9900 block of Forest View Place in Montgomery Village on Monday, July 1, around 11 p.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of Girard Street in Gaithersburg on Monday, 7/1 between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
- A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of McCausland Place in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, July 2, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Entry to the home was forced and property was taken.
