Gaithersburg Man Hired By Mom To Work In Home Assaults Child: Police
A woman hired two workers outside of a 7-Eleven convenience store, police said.

A Gaithersburg man hired to do work on a woman's house sexually assaulted her 6-year-old daughter, police said Wednesday.
Jose Campos-Gonzalez, who lives in the 500 block of West Diamond Avenue, was arrested Monday and charged with committing a third-degree sex offense, Montgomery County Police said.
Campos-Gonzalez and a friend were hired last week as temporary laborers outside of the 7-Eleven at 405 North Frederick Avenue, police said. The two men regularly take temp jobs as laborers, police said, though they did not specify exactly what work was being done.

Police identified Campos-Gonzalez as the suspect after investigating the 7-Eleven and eventually tracked him down at his nearby home, police said. The daughter identified him, police said, and he was arrested.
