MD Weekend Events: Ice Festival, Voices Of Motown, Balloonacy

MARYLAND — This weekend, Marylanders can honor the life of Martin Luther King Jr. by helping to clean up a park as part of the MLK Week of Service in one Maryland county. On Sunday there will be a "Concert For Justice" in Baltimore, which is being performed in remembrance of King.

Also this weekend are events remembering Betty White, whose 100th birthday would have been Monday, Jan. 17. One Maryland brewing company is hosting an event in her honor, with "Golden Girls" on the projector in their taproom. Check your local Patch for information about theaters streaming "Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration" on Jan. 17.

There are also nature events, concerts, a jewelry show and more this weekend in Maryland.
