Neighborhood Improvement Grants Awarded to 20 Communities

$66,165 was awarded to area neighborhood and homeowner associations for community improvement.

Gaithersburg, MD – (August 16, 2016). Twenty neighborhood and homeowner associations were awarded a total of $66,165 through the City of Gaithersburg Frederick J. Felton Neighborhood Matching Grant Program. The program provides an incentive for neighborhood organizations to improve their communities by awarding matching grants of up to $5,000. The Mayor and City Council approved the following grants at their meeting on August 15, 2016:
