Shady Grove Adventist Hospital President Dennis Hansen led a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Aquilino Cancer Center on the Shady Grove campus Wednesday morning. The center, slated to open in 2013, will be the first free-standing, comprehensive outpatient cancer center in Montgomery County. Hansen was joined at the ceremony by Adventist HealthCare officials; county, state and Gaithersburg city elected officials; and multiple physicians. Check back tomorrow morning for the full story.
