Report: Gaithersburg Library 'About 65 Percent Done'
The new Gaithersburg Library is on track for a fall opening, The Gazette reported.
Construction on the new Gaithersburg Library will reach nearly two years this fall, but is still on track to be completed in time for a September or October opening, The Gazette reported.
After being shut down in the spring of 2010, the library was originally slated to open in the spring of 2013, but was pushed back to fall, Patch reported in late 2012.
Ernest Lunsford, the Montgomery County's Building Design and Construction Division Chief, told The Gazette the project is currently about 65 percent done.
