Report: Mayor, Council Member Confirm Runs For Re-Election

Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney A. Katz and City Council Member Henry Marraffa will run for re-election in November, The Gazette reported.

Katz has served as the city's mayor since 1998, and Marraffa adds more than 17 years of experience as a council member.

Marraffa told The Gazette it would be his last time running for re-election.

Council Vice President Michael Sesma's term also comes to an end in 2013. It's unclear if he will seek re-election, according to the report.
