Report: Quince Orchard Football Adds Former Seneca Valley Standout

The Cougars add a versatile wide receiver/defensive back who's garnered some interest from NCAA Division I schools.

Quince Orchard football will add a standout transfer from nearby Seneca Valley, The Sentinel reported.

Kevin Joppy Jr., a three-year varsity player for Seneca, will attend the Gaithersburg school for the 2013-14 season after his family moved into the district, Joppy's father told The Sentinel.

Joppy earned first team All-Sentinel honors at defensive back last season, according to the report.

He has received interest from from NCAA Division I schools North Carolina State, Pittsburgh and Temple, according to Rivals.com.
