Taco Bamba Opening In Gaithersburg's Quince Orchard Center
Growing taco chain Taco Bamba will open a new location in Gaithersburg, its second in Montgomery County.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — A new Taco Bamba location is scheduled to open in Gaithersburg's Quince Orchard Shopping Center this spring, making it the second Montgomery County location.
The first opened in Rockville in summer 2021. The eatery is known for its tacos, tortas, cocktails and more.
Owner and Chef Victor Albisu's ninth Taco Bamba location will have indoor seating, a seasonal patio and a full bar.

“Maryland is a priority area of growth for Taco Bamba,” Albisu said in a news release. “When we opened in Rockville last spring, lines snaked around Congressional Plaza, as guests traveled to us from Maryland, D.C., and even Virginia. We can’t wait to build a whole new food and cocktail menu for our friends in Gaithersburg. It’s a town with an eclectic mix of restaurants serving a diverse community that knows good food.”

- berbere-spiced beef barbacoa
- barbeque pork shoulder and fried chicken
- vegetarian torta
- spaghetti quesadilla
- baskets of tajin-spiced calamari
New locations in Herndon and Alexandria were announced this year, and Taco Bamba's news release said there will be more in the future.
