Montgomery County has a form for organizations to request masks and tests for people they serve who are unable to get them on their own.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Montgomery County is continuing to distribute COVID-19 tests and N95 masks, particularly to community organizations, child care providers, and private schools, according to a news release.

So far the county has distributed:

  • 32,000 COVID-19 kits and more than 65,000 masks to seniors, people with disabilities and mobility issues, and other hard to reach populations
  • 60,000 kits to childcare programs for redistribution to staff and enrolled children, as well as 50,000 masks to the teachers and supporting staff at child care centers
  • 30,000 kits and 20,000 masks to students and staff in private schools

"To ensure equitable distribution of COVID-19 rapid test kits and N95 masks, Montgomery County is continuing to distribute kits and masks to community organizations and childcare providers to redistribute to our most vulnerable and hard to reach populations across the County,' the county said in a news release.

Organizations serving people who are unable to get masks or tests on their own — for example, people who are not physically able to get to a public library distribution site — can submit a request for supplies online, which they would then be able to redistribute to the people they serve.

"The form is intended to be filled out only by organizations who have the capacity and the means to pick up and redistribute kits to the target populations," the county said in the news release. "Organizations who previously filled out the form can do so again."
