GAITHERSBURG, MD — A toddler has been hospitalized after falling from a window at a seven-story apartment building in Gaithersburg, according to officials.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. Monday in the 18700 block of Walkers Choice Rd.

Pete Piringer, spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said the child fell from the "upper story window onto (the) pavement."
