Week Ahead In Gaithersburg: Pepco Discussion, Seneca Creek Happenings, Suspicious Death

1. TONIGHT >> The Gaithersburg Mayor and City Council work session will focus on a topic discussion of Pepco's energy saving programs for its Maryland customers. The full presentation can be viewed on the city of Gaithersburg website.

2. EVENT >> All sorts of happenings this week at Seneca Creek Park. Friday evening take part in an Owl Prowl at 8:30 p.m. Saturday morning join a fishing class and in the afternoon head over to the community church for a blood drive.

3. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT >> There was plenty of police activity in the Gaithersburg area over the weekend. A dead body was found in a Gaithersburg pond and police released images of the man's tattoos and clothing, hoping to get an identification. Police also peacefully ended a standoff with a man who was threatening to hurt himself with a gun.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT >> Quince Orchard High School, Gaithersburg High School,Watkins Mill High SchoolLakelands Park Middle School, Montgomery Village Middle School, Washington Grove Elementary are all on the list of schools with the most or least hopeful students.
