'White Genocide Is Real' Letters Found In Gaithersburg
Police said the letters were found on front doors and windshields throughout the Kentlands and Lakelands community.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Letters titled "White Genocide is Real" were left around Gaithersburg over the weekend, police said.
Police said the letters were found on front doors and windshields in the Kentlands and Lakelands community.
Officers are investigating the letters, although they are not classified as hate crimes, police said.

The letter says "white people will be a minority" by 2040.
"Why is every other race allowed to have an identity? Why is every other race allowed to have a homeland?" the letter says.

“We are aware of it and tracking information, but this is not a criminal offense,” Gaithersburg Police Officer, Dan Lane, told Montgomery Community Media. “We are, however, looking into this and encourage people to report any suspicious behavior to the police department.”
