Greenbelters can shred sensitive documents and recycle electronics on Saturday.
The will hold their semi-annual Shred It Day and residents will also get the opportunity to recycle electronics on Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at two separate locations in Greenbelt.
Residents can bring their sensitive documents to the Roosevelt Center parking lot, behind the Credit Union – and get them shred for free.
Chrissy Compofelice, Credit Union Customer Service Representative, reported that residents have been very pleased with the service. Some people “actually store it for most of the year and just wait for the day,” she said.
