Free Concert The Winstons Mowtown and Soul

·      Where:  Montpelier Mansion Grounds

·      When:  Friday, July 26, 7:30 p.m.  

·      Description:  Locals are invited to bring a chair, a picnic and some friends and enjoy a free live concert.

·      Cost:  Free

Extravadance Hip Hop Team Audtitions

·      Where:  103 Washington Blvd., Laurel

·      When:  Saturday, July 27, 1 p.m.

·      Description:  Audition offers dancers 20 seconds of freestyle. Dancers will be taught a short hip hop combination.

·      Cost:  $15

Days End Farm Horse Rescue Fundraiser

·      Where:  PW's Sports Bar and Grill, 9855 N. Washington Blvd, Laurel

·      When:  Saturday, July 27, 8 p.m.

·      Description:  Drag Queen Bingo fundraiser benefitting Days End Farm Horse Rescue.  All proceeds to towards helping abused and neglected horses and their rehabilitation and in finding their forever homes.

FREE Movie Night – An Incredible Diet

·      Where:  4807 42nd Place, Hyattsville

·      When:  Sunday, July 28, 6:30 p.m.

·      Description:  Free movie featuring “An Incredible Diet: Healthy from the Inside Out, Part 5”.  Light refreshments at 6:30, movie at 7 p.m.

Walk Against Hunger

·      Where:  12603 Nichols Promise Dr. Bowie

·      When:  Saturday, July 27, 8:30 a.m.

·      Description:  Locals are invited to join the Open Door Community Center as they WALK AGAINST HUNGER and attempt to help raise money for shelters throughout Prince Georges County who need help with their pantries being stocked.

Wine Tasting

·      Where:  121 Centerway Greenbelt

·      When:  Friday, July 26, 4 p.m.

·      Description:  Join the Co-op Supermarket & Pharmacy for a summer wine tasting. Save $1 on tasting wines.

·      Cost: Free

BBQ at Holy Trinity

·      Where:  Holy Trinity Episcopal Church

·      When:  Saturday, July 27, 11 a.m.

·      Description:  Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is selling BBQ Featuring KBQ
Real BBQ to benefit renovations of the historic rectory. 
BBQ sales will be from 11 am-4 pm July 4 and every Saturday in July, (6, 13, 20, 27) in the Parish Hall.

Old Town Bowie Saturday Concert

·      Where:  Town Green Park, 13090 9th St., Bowie

·      When:  Saturday, July 27, 2 p.m.

·      Description:  This week’s band is: Chalk Dust, an acoustic rock band.
