Greenbelt Crime: Armed Robbery, Two Burglaries Reported
The crime report for the week of June 9, 2013.
Greenbelt police are investigating an armed robbery at a business in the 6000 block of Greenbelt Road.
According to the police report, a woman entered the business just before 2:30 p.m. on June 9, acted like she had a weapon and demanded money.
The suspect was described as a black woman with a stocky build, wearing a gray-hooded jacket, police reported.

Police are also investigating two burglaries.
The first was on June 11 in the 100 block of Westway. Electronics were stolen just before 8:30 a.m. Police did not provide a suspect description in the report.

The second burglary was reported on the same day, just three hours later.
According to police, two suspects entered a building in the 7800 block of Hanover Parkway. Although nothing was reported stolen, police do have a suspect description in this case.
One of the suspects is described as a heavy-set black man at least 6-feet tall. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and had dreadlocks at the time of the burglary. The suspects fled in a green car, police reported.
