Looking forward to buying local produce in Greenbelt?
Well, starting Sunday you'll have one more option when the Greenbelt Farmers Market reopens for the season.
The market will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be live music from the Wild Anacostias starting at 10:30 a.m. and playing until noon. Free balloons will also be given away to the children.

In addition to the market's regular vendors, a number of new vendors will start selling their products this year, including:
- Batty Batches, innovative jams and jellies
- DC Puddin, southern comfort food
- Sweet Earth Essentials, a variety of aromatherapy products (the first and third Sundays of the month, beginning May 18)
- Tasha's Cookies, delicious cookies and brownies
- Tiffany's Oven, vegan prepared food
The market is located in the Roosevelt Center parking lot.
