The New York Times wrote an article about Patch's influence on small town news and the digital market race.
It looks like Patch is starting to get national media attention with its latest brush of fame via the New York Times.
The Times wrote an article chronicling the inception of the Patch idea to how AOL’s investment in a hyperlocal site may revive the Internet company.
Patch is already serving nearly 800 towns and expects to grow to 1,000 at the end of this year. If you haven’t heard enough about Patch from myself, check out this article and you’ll know more than you could even ask for, including how the business model works and some information on where the company is headed.
