Last week, it was revealed that due to the now-adopted Prince George's County School $1.6 billion 2012 fiscal year budget. Camp Schmidt has been operating for almost 40 years and is a sanctuary for kids to escape the concrete world they live in. For younger kids, it's a two-day field trip to learn about the environment, but for older students it's a place to learn team-building exercises. Parents, please share your child's experience with Camp Schmidt or even your own and let us know what you think should be done with the facility.
