Prince George's County Sheriff: Deputies Arrest Sex Abuse Of A Minor Suspect, Reports Say

Marlboro, MD… The Office of the Sheriff’s Warrant/Fugitive
Division reported the arrest of Jose Armando Mundo-Orellana on
October 4, 2021, on a warrant for Sex Abuse of a Minor obtained by police on September
29, 2021.

According to the warrant,
on September 24th, police learned that Mundo-Orellana was allegedly
involved in a sexual relationship with a minor victim, at a home located in Hyattsville,
MD.
On October 10th,
deputies executed the warrant for Mundo-Orellana at a home in the 5200 Block of
56th Ave in Hyattsville, MD. When deputies knocked, a resident
answered, allowing them to enter the home. Once inside, deputies identified Mundo-Orellana,
served him the warrant, placed him into custody, and safely transported him to
the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro, MD,
without incident.

Mundo-Orellana is also
charged with Second-Degree Rape and Third-Degree Sex Offense.
