Whiz Kid – Mira Willson

Mira Willson:

• Age: 11
• School: Greenbelt Elementary School
• Accomplishment: Mira has started a writers group at school and has even gotten her work published into a book.
•  Key to Awesomeness: Mira has achieved top scores on all of her standardized tests, she plays French horn, is a budding circus performer (thanks to Greg May’s classes), is in the science club, which is heading to the Science Bowl and volunteers at the Greenbelt Animal Shelter on weekends. A founding member of the writers group at her school, Mira’s work was published in a book last year just before her 11th birthday.
