4 To Join Havre de Grace High Hall of Fame
Lou Ward, Ernest Rodia, Sheldon W. Cole and Earl Christy will be inducted into the Havre de Grace High School Hall of Fame.

The Havre de Grace High School Hall of Fame will welcome four more members when it inducts its third class next month.
The class includes three graduates from the 1960s and one from the 1940s.
Lou Ward, Ernest Rodia, Sheldon W. Cole and Earl Christy will be inducted during a ceremony at 10 a.m. on Oct. 12—in advance of the Oct. 13 homecoming game.

The 2011 class included Rose Mary Hatem Bonsack (Class of 1951), Frederick J. Hatem (1943), Harry S. Johnson (1972), Robert L. Johnson (1944), George D. Lisby (1949, Havre de Grace Colored High School) and Madelyn Mitchell Shank (1945).

The inagural class in 2010 included David Craig (1967), James R. Harris (Class of 1961), Roy D. Mentzer (Class of 1939), Dr. George T Stansbury (Class of 1939), Millard E. Tydings (Class of 1906) and Dr. Irving C. Williams (Class of 1948).
Nominees meet the following criteria:
- Havre de Grace High School graduate
- Has a positive impact on society and is a strong role model for youth
- Exemplifies the school motto: "Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve"
- Demonstrates excellence in his or her field
