Death Notice: Florence Margaret Flinton

Florence Margaret Flinton, 92, of Largo, Florida passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Sabal Palms Health Care Center.  Florence was born on August 24, 1919 in Jay, Maine.  She worked as an LPN at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and at the Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. She lived in Havre de Grace for about 25 years and then moved to Selbyville, Delaware, from there Florence moved to the Largo area in 1999.  She was a member of the Anona United Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star.  Florence and Roland have resided at the Palms of Largo for over 3 years and have many loving friends She was an avid cribbage and bridge player.  Florence is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Roland Carter Flinton of Largo, Florida, a son Arthur Edward Flinton of Orem, Utah, a daughter Patricia Ann Little of Pinellas Park, Florida along with five grandchildren Deborah Ann Little-Jarvis of Aberdeen, MD, Jeffrey Brian Little of Port Deposit, MD, Anthony Arthur Flinton of Orlando, FL, Kevin Edward Flinton of Grantsville, UT and Amy Sylke Flinton Innis of Hollywood, FL and 12 great grandchildren.  Memorial contributions may be offered to Suncoast Hospice.  Friends are calling on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 1 pm to 2 pm with Funeral Services at 2 pm all at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL  33774.  Ph# 727-562-2080.  Burial will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.  Condolences may be offered at www.mossfeasterlargo.com
