City Offers Residents Chances To Clean Clutter
Havre de Grace residents may get rid of clutter on Sept. 22 and 29.

is making an autumn cleanse easy, offering two dates this month for residents—and only residents—to get rid of their residential waste at no charge.

Fall clean-up days will be held from 8 a.m. until noon on Sept. 22 and Sept. 29 at the .
The site—located at 100 Lagaret Lane—will have multiple dumpsters on both days to assist residents in cleaning clutter from their homes.

Residents—who must show proof of residency, such as a driver's license—may drop off tires (off the rim), mattresses, electronics, clothing, furniture, grills, appliances, empty propane tanks and batteries, according to the city's department of public works.
Items such as cans of wet paint and hazardous materials will not be accepted.
Personnel will be on site to assist with the event.
Also, Harford County will hold a hazardous waste disposal day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 10 at Scarboro Landfill. Call 410-638-3417 for more information.
