Havre de Grace Police K9 Ikar has died, officials announced. Ikar was a favorite in the community and loved affection from residents.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Police K9 Ikar, who served Havre de Grace and surrounding communities for eight years, has died.

K9 Ikar was a fixture in the community, participating in numerous demonstrations at police events and was always eager to receive affection from people. K9 Ikar's partner was Cpl. Jeremy Lathroum.
