Playground Recognizes Harford County Medal Of Honor Recipient

A new park in Harford County honors a war hero who gave his life for his country.

GRAVEL HILL, MD — A new park in a Harford County community honors a war hero who gave his life for the country. The same grounds Sgt. Alfred B. Hilton once walked are now a place for children to play. A playground named for the Medal of Honor recipient is now open.

Hilton grew up in the area and later died in the fog of war. The playground, though, continues his spirit.
