Havre de Grace Crime: Car, Money Stolen; Toilet Vandalized

Washington Street, 200 block, 11:43 a.m. on Sept. 3. A bank money bag, containing an undisclosed amount of cash, was taken from a counter at Rodgers House Tavern. Police have no suspects.

Giles Street, 700 block, 11:10 a.m. on Sept. 3. A black 1998 Honda CRX, valued at $2,000, was reported stolen between 10 p.m. on Sept. 2 and 6 a.m. on Sept. 3. The vehicle was locked and is not usually loaned out to other drivers, according to the victim. The victim said a spare set of keys recently went missing. The vehicle had 15-inch aluminum wheels and a primer coat on the fenders. Police have no suspects.

Pennington Avenue, 300 block, 12:37 a.m. on Sept. 3. A box of 50 legal-sized envelopes, a book of 20 stamps and $200 in cash was taken from a residence. The investigation is ongoing.

Congress Avenue, 200 block, 7 p.m. on Sept. 2. A toilet in the trailer restroom at Hutchins Park was clogged, causing an estimated $50 in damage. Police have no suspects.
