Havre de Grace Crime: Drug, Warrant Arrests; Bike Stolen

Bourbon Street, 600 block, 1:14 p.m. on Aug. 20. A bike valued at $200 was stolen. Police have no suspects.

Warren and Adams streets, 4:21 p.m. on Aug. 19. Christopher Nicholas Ewing, 21, of the 500 block of North Stokes Street, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and a controlled dangerous substance other than marijuana.

Pennington Avenue, 700 block, 2:45 p.m. on Aug. 19. Robin Lee Smith, 40, of the 200 block of North Main Street in North East, was arrested on a warrant through the for theft less than $100. Smith walked into the police station and stated she understood there was a warrant for her arrest.

Pulaski Highway, 1800 block, 1 a.m. on Aug. 18. Joseph Daniel Parrish, 20, of the 200 block of Schmechel Street in Aberdeen, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers observed a group of five males walking along U.S. Route 40, and one of them threw an item as an officer approached. It was later determined to be a smoking device.

Canvasback Drive, 200 block, 3:33 a.m. on Aug. 17. A 16-year-old girl of 600 block of Spinnaker Way was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. An officer observed the girl ducking between cars, and made contact with her on the front porch of a home where she claimed to live. She then attempted to run before the officer restrained her and located a smoking device and marijuana, police said.
