Havre de Grace Holiday Schedule Announced
City releases its winter holiday events schedule

The City of Havre de Grace Wednesday afternoon announced its holiday schedule, which begins with the Dec. 3 parade and culminates with the annual Duck Drop on New Year's Eve.
The holiday season kicks off Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. with Santa Claus arriving in town amid Main Street First Friday's "Light Up Night." The parade will include the Havre de Grace High School Warrior Marching Band and the Middle School Marching Band.
The Havre de Grace Chamber of Commerce sponsored "Winter Wonderland," featuring new lights throughout the downtown area. The City's Christmas tree was donated by the Havre de Grace Masons of Susquehanna Lodge 130.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in Santa's new workshop on Washington Street for two Saturdays: Dec. 4 and Dec. 11, from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
The Steppingstone Museum will hold its annual Christmas Open House Dec. 4 and 5 from noon to 4 p.m.

The 38th Annual Candlelight Tour will be held at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Dec. 12. Tickets are on sale at the Havre de Grace Visitor Center.
The Maritime Museum will host A Nautical Christmas Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Havre de Grace Church Tour is a self-guided tour of all the churches in town, free to all Dec. 26 from 2-4 p.m.
The season will end by ringing in the New Year with a fireworks display and annual Duck Drop.
