Arrests

  • Paul Franklin Johnson, Jr., 42, of the first block of Honeysuckle Lane in Port Deposit was arrested in the early afternoon of Feb. 1 on a warrant from Natural Resources Police for failure to appear. Officers initially located a subject operating a vehicle in the 2200 block of Pulaski Highway.
  • Michael Dean Farley, 47, of the 100 block of Bloomsbury Avenue was arrested in the evening of Jan. 31 and charged with second-degree assault. Police initially responded to the 100 block of Bloomsbury Avenue for a domestic assault. The dispute was between a husband and wife, and the cause of the dispute is unknown.
  • James Wilford Long, 44, of the 600 block of Fountain Street was arrested in the morning of Jan. 31 on a warrant through the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. The subject also has a residence listed at the 400 block of S. Washington Street. Officers initially observed the subject in the 600 block of Fountain Street.
  • William Louis Stirling, 43, of the 300 block of Red Head Way was arrested in the early morning of Jan. 31 and charged with driving under the influence. He also received citations for failure to drive right of center and failure to obey a traffic control device. Officers had initially conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of St. John Street.
  • David Bryan Shelton, 49, of no fixed address was arrested in the evening of Jan. 30 and charged with second-degree assault. Officers had responded to the Burger King in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway in reference to an assault. Officers made contact with both parties, learning a boyfriend had assaulted his girlfriend. There were visible signs of non-life-threatening injury. The victim refused treatment. Police learned the fight allegedly was over money.
  • Keith Edward Cooper, 30, of the 2500 block Burlwood Court in Edgewood was arrested in the late evening of Jan. 29 on a warrant through the Harford County Sheriff’s Office in relation to burglary charges. Police initially responded to the 1700 block of Chapel Road in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival, there was no fight. Police learned one of the subjects at the scene had a warrant out for his arrest. 
  • Charles Alexander Sconion, 49, of the 800 block of Lafayette Street was arrested in the early morning of Jan. 28 and charged with second-degree assault. Officers responded to the 800 block of Lafayette Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers were able to ascertain that the male subject had assaulted his girlfriend. The subject also had an active warrant out of the Harford County Sheriff’s office for violation of probation.

  • Officers responded to the Weis Market in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway in the afternoon of Feb. 2 in reference to theft of property from the loading dock. Items taken included metal racks, and were estimated to be worth more than $2,000. Police have no suspects.
  • Officers responded to Coakley’s Pub in the 400 block of St. John Street for a report of a fight that had already occurred. The victim was referred to the Harford County Court Commissioner’s Office. 
  • Officers responded to the 700 block of Chesapeake Drive in the morning of Jan. 29 in reference to the theft of an air compressor. The property owner went to use the compressor and found it wasn’t there. The item is valued at more than $100. Police have no suspects. 
  • Officers responded to the 200 block of Seneca Avenue in the afternoon of Jan. 28 in reference to a breaking and entering that had already occurred. Upon arrival, officers observed signs of forced entry. Stolen items included electronics and prescription medication, valued at more than $300. Police have no suspects.
  • Santiago Suarez Cordova, 42, of the 700 block of Girard Street was arrested in the early morning of Jan. 28 and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, and failure to stop at a stop sign. Officers initially conducted a traffic stop at Congress Avenue and N. Washington Street and detected the odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle.
  • Officers responded to the 700 block of Pulaski Highway in the early morning of Jan. 28 in reference to an assault that had already occurred. The victim said she was thrown down the steps. Officers observed no visible injuries. A dispute took place between the female subject and another tenant. The woman was referred to the Harford County Court Commissioner’s Office. No charges are pending from Havre de Grace Police.
  • Officers responded to the Best Budget Inn in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway in the evening of Jan. 27 in reference to an assault between two females that had already occurred. No significant injuries were reported as a result, and the victim was referred to the Harford County Court Commissioner’s Office.
