Arrests

  • Steven Dale Hickman, Jr., 31, of the first block of Benjamin Park Drive in Port Deposit was arrested in the early morning of Feb. 7 on a warrant from Cecil County for failure to appear. Officers responded to Harford Memorial Hospital in the 500 block of S. Union Avenue in reference to subjects that were getting ready to fight. Upon responding, officers found one of the subjects was wanted in Cecil County.
  • Christopher Antonio Olivera, 29, of the 1500 block of Theodore Road in Rising Sun was arrested in the early morning of Feb. 7 and charged with driving under the influence, failure to stay right of center, and failure to stop at a stop sign. The subject was stopped at Canvasback Drive and Remington Circle.
  • Dwayne Dexter Webb, Jr., 39, of the 700 block of Mansfield Road in Essex was arrested in the evening of Feb. 6 and charged with two counts of second-degree assault. Officers responded to Harford Memorial Hospital in reference to an assault that had occurred between a patient and staff. An hour after his arrest, the subject was transported back to Harford Memorial Hospital after harming himself while in confinement.
  • Donald Wesley Baker, 39, of the 200 block of S. Washington Street was arrested in the evening of Feb. 6 and charged with trespassing and failure to obey a lawful order. Officers initially responded to the 700 block of Market Street at 8 p.m., and told the subject to leave. The subject complied, but returned, and officers responded to the scene again a half hour later.
  • Deborah Lee Chapman, 52, of the 200 block of Seneca Way was arrested in the evening of Feb. 6 and charged with driving under the influence. The subject was stopped in the area of Adams and Revolution streets.
  • Stephen Leo Schott, 60, of the 700 block of Long Bar Harbor Road in Abingdon was arrested in the early morning of Feb. 5 and charged with driving under the influence and failure to stay right of center. The subject was initially stopped at Pulaski Highway and Revolution Street.
  • A 17-year-old male was arrested at noon on Feb. 4 and charged with possession of marijuana. The school resource officer at Havre de Grace High School observed suspicious activity involving one of the students outside of the school. The officer made contact with the student and discovered that they were in possession of marijuana.
  • Jose Luis Maldonado, 39, of the 3100 block of Appian Way in Bowie was arrested in the evening of Feb. 3 and charged with suspected driving under the influence. Officers initially responded to the area of Canvasback and Baylands drives in reference to a report of an intoxicated driver. An officer made contact and detected an overwhelmingly strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. The driver had moved over to the passenger seat and was napping at the time of the officer’s arrival. The subject failed multiple field sobriety tests.

Police Log

  • Officers responded to the 400 block of St. John Street in the early morning of Feb. 5 in reference to an assault that had already occurred. The argument was between two women regarding transportation. There were no visible injuries, and nobody was charged. The victim was referred to the Harford County Court Commissioner’s Office.
  • Officers responded to the 1100 block of Revolution Street in the evening of Feb. 4 in response to an assault that had already occurred. Officers discovered the argument was between friends, and appeared to have begun during dinner. There were no visible injuries to either party, and both were referred to the Harford County Court Commissioner’s Office.
  • Officers responded to the 300 block of Seattle Slew Place in the evening of Feb. 3 in reference to a theft from a residence. There were no signs of forced entry. Officers discovered an iPad valued at more than $600 was missing. The subject may be known to the victim, though there are no official suspects at this time.
