Arrests

  • Carmen Anthony Vesper, Jr., 54, of the 300 block of Alliance Street was arrested in the afternoon of Feb. 11 and charged with endangering the public. Officers initially responded to the 700 block of Green Street in reference to a man on a bicycle waving a knife at people. The subject told officers a group of subjects passed and taunted him, prompting him to pull the knife.
  • William Oglesby, 46, of the 500 block of Broad Street in Perryville was arrested in the early morning of Feb. 13 and charged with operating a vehicle on a revoked, suspended license. The initial traffic stop, for an equipment violation, took place in the area of Ontario and Erie streets. The operator was only able to produce an identification card, as his license was suspended and revoked. He was also found to have an active warrant through Baltimore City Police Department for violation of probation.
  • James Allen Schoolcraft, 36, of the 1200 block of Belcamp Road in Belcamp was arrested in the evening of Feb. 13 and charged with suspected driving under the influence. The subject was located in a vehicle parked in Jean Roberts Memorial Park when officers suspected he might have been driving under the influence.
  • Thomas Michael Reckenberger, Jr., 50, of the 700 block of S. Union Avenue was arrested in the early afternoon of Feb. 14 and charged with suspected theft. The subject is suspected of taking a pair of work gloves valued at roughly $7 from the Royal Farms in the 400 block of S. Juniata Street.

  • Officers responded to the 600 block of Congress Avenue in the evening of Feb. 12 in reference to reported damage to a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who pointed out scratches along the passenger side, from front to back, of a brand new 2011 Chevy Camaro. The vehicle was parked in the St. Patrick’s Church parking lot. Police have no suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
  • Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Washington Street in the early evening of Feb. 11 for a reported theft of six kayaks. The stolen items are valued at more than $5,000. Police don’t have any suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
