HHS Senior Weighs In On Aging High School Issue
Havre de Grace High School senior Morgan Enerson says the city needs a new school.
Morgan Enerson has been a Havre de Grace resident for just a year.
But after moving from Nebraska, she can already see one place where her new community falls short—her school.
"Havre de Grace has the same issue my old high school had: a wide open entrance and an office that is tucked away," Enerson said at a recent council meeting.

Enerson pointed to security as her primary concern for the two-building campus. The entrance of the school and the campus that requires students to cross a street were two points of emphasis.

Enerson carries a 4.2 GPA and will attend Salisbury University in the fall, where she plans to pursue multiple degrees.
During the meeting where she spoke, Enerson was serving as "Mayor For The Day," seated alongside current Mayor Wayne Dougherty.
