Grants are available between $1,000 and $25,000. Recent applicants to have utilized the improvement include the Masonic Lodge, the "Old Ordinary" at 100 St. John Street and . The funding can be utilized for facades, exterior carpentry, brick work, painting, signage, awnings, attached lighting and windows and doors, according to a fact sheet from Havre de Grace Main Street. Funding cannot be used for landscaping, fencing, roofing or porches.
