• One Flown to Trauma Center with Life-Threatening Injuries After Early Morning Crash in Charlotte Hall (smnewsnet.com) — A serious three-vehicle crash near Charlotte Hall early Wednesday sent one person by state police helicopter to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries, after firefighters from Mechanicsville and Hughesville quickly freed the trapped driver. Two others initially refused treatment, though one later reported neck and back pain. Deputies are still investigating the cause of the collision.
