BSO To Perform At Oregon Ridge Fourth of July

If you're looking for a way to celebrate the Fourth of July in the Hunt Valley area, you're in luck.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will play a concert to be immediately followed by fireworks at Oregon Ridge Park, 13401 Beaver Dam Road, on July 3 and the Fourth of July.

Relax, enjoy and celebrate as the BSO plays Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever, and more.

The event will also feature a performance of the National Anthem by the winner of the orchestra's O, Say Can You Sing? contest.

Gates open for the event at 5 p.m. and the concert will start around 8 p.m. The performance typically lasts about an hour and a half, so the fireworks should start around 9:30 p.m. on both nights.

Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for kids and you're welcome to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, food, drinks, beer and wine; just make sure you leave your pets at home unless they're service animals.

And if you don't bring your own food or drink, no worries—they'll have both for sale.

Parking will be available on site for $15 or for free at the Verizon parking lot across from the Hunt Valley light rail stop with a free shuttle to Oregon Ridge Park.
