Shop-With-A-Cop is a local program that makes a Christmas wish come true for some kids. Optimist Clubs raise funds so that the kids can go on a $100 shopping adventure, a couple of weeks before Christmas.
Our goal is to have 100 children participate. The children, who are selected by the Baltimore County Police Department through the PAL centers throughout Baltimore County, each will be able to spend $100. The number of children we can serve depends on the amount of funds which are raised by the participating Optimist Clubs through fundraising project and solicitation of donations.
The Optimist Clubs of Jacksonville, Timonium, Cockeysville and Hereford raise funds for this event.
