Masked, Armed Robbers Put Cafe Owner in Freezer
Cash and two guns were among the items two criminals stole.

The owner of the Ashland Cafe in Cockeysville was ambushed Friday as he opened a door to his business.
Between 2 a.m. and 2:47 a.m. Friday, two men with black, semi-automatic pistols, "rushed across the street with guns drawn," according to a report by the Baltimore County Police Department.
They forced the owner to open two safes in the business, located at 10810 York Rd., then tied him up with metallic tape.

They put him in a walk-in freezer but he was able to free himself while inside, and called 911, the police report states.
Stolen were money, an iPhone and keys, miscellaneous items, a handgun and a semi-automatic pistol.

The suspects are described as black men in their 30s who are both 5-foot-10. They both wore gloves and bandanas over their faces, the report states.
One suspect weighs 260 pounds. He wore a black fleece jacket and dark jeans.
The second suspect is a man who weighs 190 pounds. He wore a light gray sweatsuit, it states.
