The Maryland State Fair continues through Monday in Timonium. The Band Perry performs Saturday.

After much wrangling and drama, the Baltimore Grand Prix is back. Check out some action on the cheap Friday—tickets are $15 or $5 for kids 12 and under—or enjoy the marquee races with a weekend pass. More information, including grandstand passes, are available on the grand prix website.

String Theory plays in Towson.

The Gathering, Baltimore's own food truck rally, visits McHenry Row.

Saturday

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the grand prix or the fairgrounds by heading to a different kind of fair—the Maryland Renaissance Festival in Crofton.
