John Jordan, a retired officer of the Hyattsville City Police Department died this morning about midnight. Prior to joining HCPD, served with Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department for 25 years. A viewing and funeral service will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 11 at OMP's South Chapel, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, Va.   A reception will be held at the Jordan family house following the services. Directions will be handed out at the funeral home. The family is allowing time during the services for friends and co-workers to talk about their experiences with Jordan throughout the years. HCPD and FOP #119, as well as PGFD and IAFF #1699 will be sending  members.
