Government Offices to Close on Veterans Day in Prince George's County

Prince George’s County officials announced several holiday closures on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in honor of Veterans Day.

Find a list of government and service closures below:

• All county government offices will be closed on Nov. 11, with the exception of public safety agencies
• Bulky trash collections by the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill will not operate on Nov. 11, but all waste management facilities and collection services (including refuse and recycling) will run on a normal schedule.
• TheBus will run normally on Nov. 11 with the exception of Route 51, which serves county government buildings.
• Call-A-Bus and the Para-transit service will be closed on Nov. and resume service on Nov. 12.
• The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will be closed on Nov. 11, but will reopen for normal business hours on Nov. 12.
• Prince George’s CountyClick 311 is closed on Nov. 11, but will still accept service/issue requests from residents online.
